Southwest Association for Family and Community Education

 

• Officially joined National FCE in 1962

• Registered as a 501(c)3

• Lobbied and helped to pass Seat Belt Law

• Worked to start Red Ribbon Campaign

• Applied for Kellogg Foundation Grant and began Family              Community Leadership (FCL) training in 1989

• New Mexico and Texas joined Arizona in 2017 to form the first Tri-State association under National FCE
